Comedian Kapil Sharma is going through a very tough time. He is surrounded by controversies such as the abusive rant on Twitter, battling with depression and shutting down of ‘Family Time With Kapil Sharma’ show. A lot of TV celebrities spoke on the issue and supported Kapil Sharma to give him space. Last week, Neeti Simoes wrote an open letter to Kapil that they support him. However, Kapil didn’t react on any of the things. Today, we saw that the comedian has finally broken his silence on all the controversies saying that he knows what all he is doing.

While giving an interview to Bollywood Hungama, the ace comedian said, “The people who want my career destroyed can spread whatever lies they want. I am okay with it. I am not new to people piggy riding on my success. Let them, as long as it gives them the satisfaction they want. I know what I am doing.”

Kapil Sharma got viral for posting abusive tweets, which were later deleted. After the screenshots of the tweets went viral, a tweet from Kapil’s handle was posted, which said that his account was hacked. That tweet was also deleted after a few minutes. The next day, Kapil Sharma posted: “Maine jo b likha tha apne dil se likha tha.. it was my team who deleted my tweets.”

After few days he tweeted that he has filed a complaint against Spotboye Editor Vickey Lalwani, Neeti and Preeti Simoes, alleging extortion. A lot was written about Kapil Sharma after that.

The comedian’s new show, Family Time With Kapil, didn’t work well and is still on hold. Kapil, however, didn’t sound worried, “My channel Sony Entertainment are completely behind him. Sony’s helmers Mr N P Singh and Mr Danish Aslam are the most supportive people I’ve worked with. They believe in me,” he said in the interview.
