Shoojit Sircar’s October that stars Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu in the lead is all set to hit screens on April 13 ie the coming Friday. Given that the film just has a few days to release, the makers organised a special screening for a selected few from the film industry. One such person was none other than Karan Johar, who can’t stop praising the film. KJo took to Twitter to post a mini review of his own. We all know how there’s no stopping the filmmaker when he takes a liking to something. He is after all one of the most eloquent and opinionated filmmakers Bollywood has today.
He called the film, “Absolutely beautiful” and felt that he was present with the “characters and feeling their every beat and emotion”. He also called this film, Varun Dhawan’s best till date. While Varun is a highly talented actor having churned out one hit after another, his performance in Badlapur had, by far been the best. But going by KJo’s review, seems like he has surpassed Badlapur with October. Take a look at his tweets below :
Well, it’s evident that Karan is very proud of his protege. It was Karan who had introduced Varun Dhawan to Bollywood with his debut film, Student Of The Year (2012) that also starred Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. Incidentally, Student of the Year 2 starring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria went on floors two days ago and KJo announce the lead actress’ names today. Well, after having read Karan’s reviews we certainly can’t wait to watch October already. What about you? Let us know in the comments’ section below
