Kareena Kapoor wants to pen a book like sis' Karisma Kapoor

Kareena Kapoor Khan recently released the book Don’t Lose Out, Work Out by nutritionist and diet expert Rujuta Diwekar. This is Rujuta’s third book. Kareena confessed at the event that Rujuta’s guidance and advice has helped her achieve her fabulous figure. Rujuta’s background expertise in sports science and nutrition, her understanding of yoga and more than 15 years of experience has been put together in this book.

Kareena was seen in a Tarun Tahiliani creation at the book launch. She tied her hair in a bun and sported minimal jewellery and make up. She carried the whole look perfectly.

Kareena has been following her sister’ Karisma Kapoor’s footsteps, indulging in a lot of reading. Karisma had penned a book My Yummy Mummy Guide: From Getting Pregnant to Losing All the Weight and Beyond in which she had busted some diet myths associated with post pregnancy weight loss and also shared her experience. The actress had dedicated the book to her children Samaira and Kiaan, who are the reason for her turning author.

When Kareena was asked if she would write a film or a book some day, she said: “I don’t know about a film story, but maybe a book at some point. I haven’t even thought about it but books feel good.”

“I have started reading a lot and books open up your imagination more than a film. So, someday I might write a book but I don’t know about what. I have written one foreword for Rujuta, so I have a flair for writing but a book, I don’t know,” she added.

The whole Kapoor family has quite a penchant for reading it seems. Even Kareena’s name was derived from Anna Karenina, the book her mother was reading while expecting her! So it would be no surprise if Kareena pens down a book and would be seen at her own book’s launch.

Kareena had earlier shared her experiences in the book Kareena Kapoor – The Style Diary of a Bollywood Diva with Rochelle Pinto.
