Salman Khan is on a roll! His movie Kick is turning out to be the blockbuster of blockbusters, having beaten the India box office record of Aamir Khan’s movie 3 Idiots with a collection of Rs 203.19 crore. But Kick is yet to break the record of frenemy Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express in India – Rs 212 crore. According to the latest box office updated by Taran Adarsh, Kick has collected Rs 207.38 crore in its two-and-a-half weeks at the BO.
Taran Adarsh tweeted the box office figures of Kick, saying, “#Kick [Week 2] Fri 9.22 cr, Sat 10.62 cr, Sun 14.18 cr, Mon 5.08 cr, Tue 4.21 cr. Total: ₹ 207.38 cr nett. BLOCKBUSTER!”
But Salman needn’t be disheartened, as the overseas figures of Kick present a rosy picture. Kick has managed to collect Rs 61.35 crore. Adarsh tweeted, “#Kick Overseas crosses $ 10 million [₹ 61.35 cr]. Many screens yet to report. Highest grosser of 2014 *so far* in Overseas territory. FAB!”
