Iconic Hollywood actor Mickey Rooney passed away at the age of 93 due to ill health on April 6. The former child actor, who was famous for his role in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, is survived by his 9 children, Us Magazine reported.
Rooney will be seen posthumously in B Luciano Barsuglia’s upcoming film Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, which is set to release in October 2014.
Rooney was the winner of the Academy Honorary Award and the Academy Juvenile Award.
His other awards include: Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor – Miniseries or a Movie, Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television and the Golden Globe Award for Best TV Star – Male.
