Playback singer Arijit Singh is one of the most loved voices not just in the industry but even amongst fans as well. The minute we talk about romantic tracks, the first name that comes to our mind is Arijit Singh. We can perfectly relate him to the genre of soft-romantic tracks in recent times. He shot to fame in the industry with his first song Tum Hi Ho from ‘Aashiqui 2’ and that left everyone speechless. Words weren’t enough for fans to express on how they could easily connect to the song, courtesy Arijit’s soulful voice. But now we wonder what went wrong that this successful singer fears that his career will come to an end very soon.

Arijit Singh recently crooned some fabulous songs like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Sanam Re, Phir Kabhi, and many more. If at all we have to list down our favourite tracks of Arijit, then the list will just be never ending. He is one such singer that the industry would never want to lose, no matter what! Fans have favoured him despite the controversy that revolved around him during the release of ‘Sultan’. In an interview with Mid-Day the 29-year-old singer revealed on why he fears his singing career will come to an end soon and what he plans to do in the near future for survival sake.

Arijit Singh was quoted as saying, “I don’t think I have a long way to go. This might be my last year. Normally, fresh voices replace (current favourites) every five to seven years in Bollywood.” Can you believe this most loved singer is telling such stuff to us? He adds, “If I work really hard on specific genres, I might be able to stay longer. That way, I can emerge as the only singer who can croon songs of those genres. Maybe that’s how I will survive.” The new-gen singers might not really agree to what Arijit is saying because they all look up to him as their idol. Arijit Singh is popular among the masses but he still does not have that air of stardom. Whenever he has appeared on TV shows we have seen how humble has been and how shy he feels while interacting. Arijit is further quoted saying, “I enjoy a quiet life, without much interruption. Over the past three years, I have seen my fan base grow, and I think it’s essential for them to know that I’ve always been someone who refrains from interactions because I enjoy a silent life. With the growth of social media, this, too, becomes difficult.” We all have seen Arijit’s passion towards music. Now, how his career takes a turn, we’ll get to know that with time.
