We haven’t had enough of Prabhas and Anushka Shetty, our Amarendra Baahubali and Devasena of Baahubali: The Conclusion, have we? Ever since we saw the two romance in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, we have been waiting to see the two come together again. With the final cast of Saaho being announced, and Shraddha Kapoor bagging the lead role, our wait just got a little longer. But then we heard about Darling and Sweety reuniting for the big screen post Saaho.
India.com learnt that they are looking for a script, which is not an action film like their earlier outings, but an out an out romantic story. But Saaho is still in the making and there is no release date to it as of now. In such a scenario, the wait seems indefinite. Interestingly, this piece of information that our well placed source has shared with us is making us excited. We may get to see Prabhas and Anushka Shetty together, on the same platform, earlier than we think.
In fact, we have learnt that the two will come together early next year, giving fans an opportunity to see their favourite onscreen jodi in the same frame yet again. Our source tells us, “Anushka Shetty is gearing up for the release of her period thriller Bhaagamathie. The title poster that released on her birthday has created a huge buzz. To make the most of the already heightened curiosity around the film, the makers are now planning a big event for the trailer launch. Prabhas’ UV Creations has produced the film and Prabhas will be present at the event in the capacity of the producer as well as a special guest.” The makers know the kind of buzz the coming together of Prabhas and Anushka will create and that will only further help the film.
While Bhaagamathie doesn’t have a release date as yet, industry sources say that it is highly unlikely for it to release during Pongal 2018. But since it has been in the making and ready since some time now, it may release early February. We have also heard that Anushka Shetty’s Bhaagamathie might clash with Anushka Sharma’s psychological thriller Pari on February 9, 2018. It will be interesting, won’t it?
