Prabhas and Anushka Shetty have become one of the best onscreen jodis after they played Amarendra Baahubali and Devasena in Baahubali: The Conclusion. Fans want to see the two come together again but while there is time for this to happen, the two have been approached for projects from various Indian film industries. While it is old news that Prabhas has some of the biggest filmmakers from the Hindi film industry bee lining to sign him, Anushka too got an offer recently. source at UV Creations, which is Prabhas’ home banner and the production house bankrolling Saaho (Bhaagamathie as well), revealed that Anushka Shetty was offered a Hindi film recently but she had to say ‘no’ to the filmmaker on Prabhas’ behest. “Prabhas is of the opinion that Anushka should make her Bollywood debut with him. He knows that that way they can make the most of their onscreen pair and give fans what they expect out of them. Also, he wants the film to be produced by UV Creations since the sensibilities match and it will be nice to have some comfort level with the producers while working with a new director from another industry,” said the source. It is not new for Prabhas to call the shots as far as Anushka’s career is concerned. “They are great friends and each other’s soundboards when it comes to work. Even when Bhaagamathie was being filmed, Prabhas visited the sets to just see on how the film is coming along. So it is only natural that he had a word of advise for his colleague and good friend and Anushka in turn chose to follow it,” shared the source further.

While we may not see Anushka is a Hindi film soon, we are sure the wait will be worth it since whenever the debut will happen, it will be with Prabhas and what better joy for fans of Darling and Sweety than to see them together in a film? The Telugu superstar meanwhile is busy shooting some important action scenes in the UAE for Saaho. The film is a multi lingual and is being made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu simultaneously and will be sort of a Bollywood debut for Prabhas.
