In the FIR, Preity mentioned about knowing Ness Wadia for 10 years and about her being in relationship with him. She later talked about them not being in relation but being strict professionals as the co-owners of the IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab. Preity Zinta mentioned about how she had stopped talking to Ness Wadia barring on few occasions. In her complaint she wrote about the arguments between them and how Ness tried to abuse her. Preity’s FIR copy read, ” used extremely derogatory language and tried to behave in a manner, where I was put to shame in front of my colleagues, friends and family.”

According to the FIR posted on social media, Ness Wadia had even threatened to kill Preity Zinta. The Marine Drive, Mumbai police have registered a FIR against Wadia under IPC sections 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) and 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman).
