Right from the first look posters of Raazi to the trailer – Alia Bhatt left her fans, critics and many Bollywood celebrities impressed with her character Sehmat. Everyone is now waiting for the film’s release. Alia is undoubtedly one of the best actresses we have in Bollywood and the video, Decoding Shemat, which takes us on Alia’s journey of turning into a spy, will prove that she is Bollywood’s Ms Perfectionist. The actress left no stone unturned to stick to her director Meghna Gulzar’s vision of Sehmat – who is a “simple, normal, feminine, girl and a spy.” Right from getting the demeanor right, to nailing the action scenes to leaning how spies in the 1970’s worked and passed on intelligence information without ‘technology being how we know it today,’ – Alia Bhatt has done a lot of hard work in prepping for her role.

She also had to drive the jonga jeep for a crucial scene and spent most of her early mornings driving it around so that it comes naturally to her. She mugged up morse codes, learnt to shoot, handle weapon and be agile in her movements where she had put to user her action moves. The makers of the film Raazi have released the video Decoding Sehmat telling us how Alia turned into Sehmat and it is impressive and leave you speechless.
