Ranbir Kapoor’s film Bombay Velvet, directed by Anurag Kashyap, was looking at a December 25 release this year. But reports said Aamir Khan’s P.K., directed by Rajkumar Hirani, was coming in the way. Anurag was apparently angry with Aamir over it.

But now it seems all is well, as the theatrical release dates of both Bombay Velvet and P.K. have changed. Anurag revealed at an event that Bombay Velvet is releasing on November 28, 2014.

Ranbir added that he felt a November release is good for Bombay Velvet so that it doesn’t clash with other important films. “I think it is the correct release date…we will get more theatres, we don’t want to clash with another film. Every film’s business gets affected. So it’s the best thing we have done and hopefully the audience will give it a chance,” he said.

Meanwhile, Aamir had already changed his film P.K.‘s release date from the lucky X’Mas day to December 19.

As for Ungli, well, Koffee with Karan Season 4 has just got over, and Karan Johar is back at his filmmaking job. He announced the release date of his production on Twitter, saying, “Dharma productions UNGLI will release on NOV the 7th,2014….”

That will mean Karan will handle the stress of two films in November – for Ungli as producer, and for Bombay Velvet as his acting debut in a major role. Good luck to him! And here’s what KJo says about his acting debut: “my father thought I should be an actor… I didnt…thank you Anurag Kashyap for fulfilling my dad’s wish…just wrapped #BombayVelvet!!!”
