Results of the Best Dressed List of Oscars 2014

OscarsThe Red Carpet of the 86th Academy Awards or Oscars 2014 was once again flooded with extremely gorgeous stars wearing the best in their wardrobe! Well, with such glitz and glamour elegantly walking around, it was of utmost importance that a best dressed list should be made to feed our fashion followers.

  1. Sandra Bullock : She undoubtedly  ruled the results that were derived from twitter and Facebook audiences. 23% voted for Alexander McQueen’s elegant sapphire-hued satin gown that Bullock carried off with grandeur and poise.
  1. Kate Hudson: Yet another 22% voted for Hudson who wore a plunging and bead-accented off-white Atelier Versace design complete with a strong shoulder and superhero-inspired draped fabric at the back.
  1. Lupita Nyong: Another 19% of the audience thought that the young Lupita Nyong’s plunging (in the back and front) pale blue, flowy Prada gown befitted her achieving the Award for the Best Supporting Actress for 12 Years a Slave.
  1. Jennifer Lawrence: With 14% of the votes, Jennifer Lawrence looked drop dead gorgeous in her strapless red Dior Haute Couture gown. But what was even more amazing was her beautiful hair updo designed by the stylist Mark Townsend for the night.
  1. Cate Blanchett: The winner of the Best Actress in Leading role  floated down the carpet in her floral-adorned Giorgio Armani gown which, she admitted, in in reality was pretty heavy.
  1. Charlize Theron: She grabbed a thousand glares by both the sexes when Theron decided to walk the carpet in her plunging neckline, sheer illusion straps and a dramatic full sheer Dior gown. But that’s not it! One wouldn’t be able to get their eyes off her neat slick back do and her 31-carat flawless Winston Cluster Diamond pendant that adorned her neck.
  1. Amy Adams: The American Hustle actress looked no less stunning in her strapless, sapphire, fish cut Gucci Prèmiere gown that was designed especially for her for the occasion.
  1. Jared Jeto: Why should boys be left out, eh? The Supporting Best Actor Jared Leto makes it to the top 10 only thanks to the Saint Laurent tuxedo jacket and burgundy bow tie that he carried of with panache.
  1. Naomi Watts: With a white slim fitting custom allover-beaded Calvin Klein gown and a spider collar diamond necklace, Watts really made it to the elegant and gorgeous list.
  1.  Benedict Cumberbatch: People’s very own Sherlock makes it to this list with a classic black Spencer Hart tuxedo and a style that one can die for.
