Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sultan gets U/A certificate from CBFC

Even though Salman Khan has not been cleared out of the ‘rape remark controversy’, his upcoming film ‘Sultan’ did. Yes, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared ‘Sultan’ with a U/A certificate and that too without any cuts. It is also reported that the CBFC panel has extremely liked the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial flick that is slated to hit the silver screens during the time of Eid.

Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma are sharing screen space for the first time. This sports drama based film is definitely one of the most awaited films of the year. SpotboyE quoted a source saying, “It (Sultan) should exceed all expectations”. Now this decision from the CBFC must have definitely made not just the lead cast and makers of ‘Sultan’ happy but even the Salmaniacs too. (ALSO READ: Oops! In the film, Salman Khan would be seen playing the role of a Haryanvi wrestler named Sultan Ali Khan. Even Anushka Sharma would be seen playing as a wrestler named Aarfa who also happens to Sultan’s ladylove. CBFC panel has given a nod and with time we’ll get to know how the Aditya Chopra produced film has fared at the box office. Despite of all the controversies that is revolving around the film’s male lead Salman Khan, ‘Sultan’ is touted to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.
