Salman Khan is truly going out of his way to make sure that his ex-lover Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle Kaif’s Bollywood debut film gets all the attention. It was recently announced that Isa will be making her debut with Sooraj Pancholi (who was launched by Salman in Hero) in Stanley D’costa’s directorial debut titled Time To Dance. To make the film a much looked forward one for the audience, a recreated version of Salman’s cult hit track from “O Oh Jaane Jaana” from Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya (1998) will be part of the film.
Not just this, the original singer, Kamaal Khan will croon the reprised version as well, to give fans the perfect kick of nostalgia. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, “The singer of the original, Kamaal Khan, returns for the new version while the music has been composed by Shivai Vyas who is also currently working on Race 3, While the feel of the original has been retained for a nostalgia trip for Salman fans, the score will be more contemporary and catchy this time around.” Reports also suggest that a grand set will be erected to give O Oh Jaane Jaana recreated version the dash of drama it needs.
What more? While the song will star the lead stars Isabelle and Sooraj, it will have a special appearance by the original star – Salman Khan. Woohoo! The film is all set to go on floors from April with a 50-day long schedule in London. Time To Dance will see Isa play a ballroom and Latin dancer while Sooraj will play a street dancer in the film.
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Remo D’souza but has all the support from Salman as we can see. The dance based film promises to be a treat to watch for dance enthusiasts as it will present styles like Salsa, Zumba, Bachata, Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep, according to reports. Earlier, Salman had crooned the title song ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’ for Sooraj’s debut film Hero. The film failed to create any magic on the big screen and box office, let’s hope the fate of Time To Dance is better.
