Salman Khan is out of jail and has once again started shooting for his forthcoming film, Race 3. And while he has already finished shooting for a few important scenes in Mumbai, looks like his conviction in the 1998 black buck poaching case is playing spoilsport with his final schedule for the film. Mid-day has now reported that the final schedule of Race 3 was initially going to be shot in South Africa. However, since Salman is barred from travelling outside the country without the permission of the Jodhpur sessions court, the makers were reportedly forced to make certain changes in the schedule. The makers have reportedly decided to shift their final shoot schedule destination to Leh Ladakh instead as the process to seek permission to fly the actor out of the county would be time consuming.
The leading tabloid quoted a source close to the development as saying, “According to the original plan, South Africa was going to be the second last schedule followed by the Mumbai leg. After the court sentencing, certain changes had to be made in the schedule. The makers felt it would be feasible to wrap up the Mumbai schedule first, so that they didn’t lose out on time. Towards the month-end, they will head to Leh to film the song that was initially meant to be canned in foreign locales.” Remo D’Souza also confirmed that the final leg will be shot in Leh, however, he did not mention that this was a last minute change. As he told Mid-day, “We were scouting for locations, and finally decided on Leh and Ladakh. It’s going to be a week-long shoot during which we will film a song.”
Reports suggest that the Race 3 team, will head to Leh for a span of 10 days and will shoot the new version of Allah Duhai Hai at numerous scenic locations across Leh. Producer Ramesh Taurani told Mid Day , “Leh will add to the aesthetic value of the number.” Anyway, what do you guys have to say about this latest development? ” The film is slated to release on Eid this year. Helmed by Remo D’Souza the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor.
