India.com had informed readers in early February that Samantha Ruth Prabhu (Akkineni) and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya are ready to embrace parenthood and now we have another proof.  Back then, in a video that the Rangasthalam actress had posted on her Instagram, the couple was seen discussing how to raise a child. They were looking at an article which had the cost of raising a child from conception to college and Naga Chaitanya had said, “this is a practical approach. It is easily achievable, with some strict and proper planning. We can achieve this target.” When Samantha asked “We?”, her hubby dear replied, “We together as a team.”

Looks like we weren’t wrong when we guessed that the newly weds (married last 2017) are ready to take their married life a level ahead and bring home a new member. The two have given this ample of thought and worked out all the details as well of having a baby. In a recent interview to Film Companion, Samantha has revealed, “I have put a date as to when I want my baby. The date has been fixed. Like, as if that’s going to happen according to the date we have fixed. But Chay seems to be certain that it will happen on the assigned date… But we have definitely fixed the timeline as to when we want to have a baby.”

Not just when she will have a baby, Samantha is also clear about how her life will change once the baby arrives. She said, “My baby (when it arrives) will be my ‘universe’.” She also said that she has the greatest respect for working mothers but she hasn’t had a rosy childhood and she wants to give her child all that she didn’t get as a child. So the first few years after I have a child, I will not be anywhere else.”
