Kedarnath is perhaps one of the most anticipated movies of the coming year as it has Saif Ali Khan’s daughter, Sara Ali Khan, making her debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in this Abhishek Kapoor directed film. The film also marks the collaboration of Sushant and Abhishek for the second time after the former’s debut film, Kai Po Che. For the uninitiated, Kedarnath is a love story based on the backdrop of the 2013 Uttarakhand floods. While Kapoor recently took to his Instagram profile to announce the first schedule shoot wrap up in the holy city, today we’ve got our hands on Sara Ali Khan’s first still from the movie.

In the still, she is looking extremely pretty riding on a horseback with an umbrella in her hand. However, she does seem a little worried and we wonder why. It is uncanny how similar she looks to her mother, Amrita Singh from her initial acting days. As per a report in Pinkvilla that quoted a member from the unit as saying that the young actress-to-be has been prepping for the role tremendously. The source said, “Sara works out regularly on the sets with her trainer. In Mumbai, she trained in Pilates with Namrata Purohit but what most don’t know is Sara’s love or rather passion for bhindi or okra or ladies fingers. She can have any amount of it in either raw or cooked form and at all times of the day. Sara is very professional and has been like a dream to work with.

According to reports, Sara will be playing the role of a Panditji’s daughter, while Sushant will be playing the role of a pithoo who carries the luggage of the tourists on his back. Sara is apparently on a proper diet and given her love for okra, makes sure it’s an integral part of her everyday diet. ” Sara is very particular about the fact that she has to have bhindi for all her meals so the lodge where she stayed had to have the vegetable in plentiful supply. The high fiber content of the vegetable helps digestion, results in a glowingly, healthy-looking skin and enables weight loss. Sara also loves singing and often starts humming her favorite songs on the sets. But once the camera lights are on, she’s completely focused on her acting and delightful to watch,” the crew member said.

A few days ago, there were reports doing the rounds that Sara Ali Khan throws around a lot of tantrums on the sets. However, producer Arjun N Kapoor came to her rescue and denied the rumours. He said to a leading daily, “Sara is a beautiful mix of innocence and talent. She is an intelligent girl, well-read and educated, she knows how the industry functions but she is not afraid to work hard and ask questions, which is just what we needed for Kedarnath. She has totally won over the crew of the film. Sara picked the vibe at the rehearsals itself so her first day was smooth going, to say the least. Everyone on the sets stopped to watch her perform. For someone who is doing her first film, she was very comfortable in front of the camera and a big outdoor unit.”
