SGPC chief Kirpal Singh Badungar said in a statement, “No actor or any character can equate himself with the tenth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh. Such an act is unpardonable.” The entire Sikh community is hurt to see how the tenth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh was depicted which is against the Sikh tenets. The character Roshan Singh Sodhi was portrayed as Guru Gobind Singh and that has not been liked by the community. The makers of the show and the channel have received warning from showing blasphemous content on TV from the apex religious body of the Sikh.
