Actress-author Soha Ali Khan‘s debut book ‘The Perils of Being Moderately Famous’ was launched in Mumbai on December 12, 2017, at a star-studded event, where for the very first time, Sharmila Tagore, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saba and Kunal Khemu gathered together to unveil Soha’s memoir. The novel is novel is a breezy and riveting read, full of insights and humour. Well, guess, who has read Soha’s book? It’s none other than Bollywood Sehenshah Amitabh Bachchan. Yes, and not just that but he has also sent her a letter of encouragement as he enjoyed reading the book.

The actress has received a letter of encouragement from Big B, who praised her book ‘The Perils Of Being Moderately Famous’. On Thursday, Soha took to her micro-blogging site to share the letter from Amitabh and wrote, “So honoured to get this in the mail! The letter read, “The term ‘spine and spunk’ comes to mind on picking up your book … It doesn’t matter how much polite and self-deprecating fluff you have on the outside. Even though on the surface you are sort of reticent and shying away from the spotlight, your genuine and funny sense of humour has been skillfully portrayed confirming that you possess a steely something in the middle that says ‘You know what, I’m actually really really good at this, and this is what I can do, and now I have done it’.” The thespian, 75, wrote that he enjoyed the book immensely.
