We had earlier reported that actor-comedian Sunil Grover has teamed up with Kapil Sharma‘s former colleagues Ali Asgar, Sugandha Mishra and TV actor Suyyash Rai, apart from Shilpa Shinde for the new show titled ‘Dan Dana Dan’, which will air (twice in a week) on the Jio TV app during the Indian Premier League (IPL). ‘Jio Dan Dana Dan Live’ is a Jio original show aiming to present a mix of cricket and comedy for the Indian Premiere League 2018 season and will premiere on the same date on the MyJio app with all-live episodes releasing every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Speaking of reconciling with Kapil, Sunil, who was at the preview of ‘Jio Dan Dana Dan Live’ along with Kapil Dev, Shilpa, Shibani Dandekar, among other (on Wednesday), said, if it is God’s will, he will work with Kapil once again following their bitter battle of words. Interacting with the media, “I really had a nice experience whenever I have worked with him. Kapil is a very talented artiste and he makes people laugh through his performances. I pray for his good health and I hope he will continue doing his job. God willing, we will definitely work together.”
Earlier today, Sunil took to his micro-blogging site to post a rather funny tweet. He wrote, “Yes, I am doing a Cricket Comedy Show on Jio this IPL, doesn’t mean I am handling their customer care. Please don’t write me concerns regarding your network. ;)” While Sunil’s show is yet to go on air, the actor-comedian has already started to entertain his fans on social media platforms. Talking about his new show, the actor said, “I am playing the character of professor LBW in the show. It stands for ‘Launda Bhatinde Wala’. It’s a new show where we have combined comedy with cricket.
