From Jeyam to Santosh Subramaniam to Thani Oruvan, Jeyam Ravi has won accolades for his acting. The actor has been making a mark in the industry with the choice of his films from different genres. Now Ravi will be seen in a new flick, which is said to be Tamil cinemas first space film, titled Tik Tik Tik. The name itself denotes the sound of a ticking watch, making it seem like a race against time. The film, which is helmed by director Shakti Soundar Rajan, had its first look released today.
In the first look poster, Ravi is seen to be hanging on to a rope in the middle of a space accident. Well, the poster does not give out much, looks like it’s a waiting game. From thief (Thillalangadi ) to a cop (Thani Oruvan), Jeyam Ravi has always done justice to the role that has been offered to him. Going by the poster, it seems like the makers have spent a great budget on space sets and special effects, hopefully, they are pretty confident about the movie doing well at the box office. Tik Tik Tik marks the reunion of Ravi and director Shakti after last year’s Tamil zombie thriller Miruthan. The director who is known for spinning out commercial entertainment films from the genres that are less explored contacted Ravi to narrate this space story only after the release of Miruthan. Miruthan, that had Ravi in the lead, did really well at the box office. Shakti Soundar Rajan, today, took to Twitter to post the first look posters.
The film, which is touted to be a race-against-time thriller, also stars Singaporean actor Aaron Aziz, Nivetha Pethuraj and Ramesh Thilak in lead roles. The film is bankrolled by Hitesh Jhabak and the music has been scored by D Imman.
