Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha finally released two days ago and it has had its fair share of buzz generated among the crowds. The film was always tipped to be running hit as the film not only promised entertainment but also takes a stand against an important national issue. However, as the makers must’ve liked, the film isn’t receiving praise from everyone. This far there have been a series of mixed reviews, with rating ranging from 1.5 to 4 stars on several leading websites. So in this confusion, lets just settle it with the box office numbers. Which, in fact, are booming right now.
Akshay Kumar yet again does prove his credentials as one of the most bankable actors in the industry. The numbers from the film’s second day of the film have come in and here they are. Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh tweets: “ Fri 13.10 cr, Sat 17.10 cr. Total: ₹ 30.20 cr. India biz… ₹ 48 cr [+/-] weekend on the cards… SUPERB… ”
