Salman Khan’s legion of fans are going bonkers right now as the superstar unveiled the first teaser poster of his upcoming film, Tubelight couple of hours back. Yep! Tubelight, which is scheduled to hit the theatres this Eid, has started its slow march to release with the launch of its first poster, in which we can see Salman Khan’s back. He is dressed in a chequered shirt, brown trouser and a brown coat with a skull cap and cross-over bag, standing in a dessert. The tag line of the poster reads, “Kya tumhe yakeen hai?”

The poster is nice and all that jazz, but we have noticed that Salman Khan’s back as the film’s first poster has become something of a motif. It has started from Wanted and it hasn’t stopped ever since then. In the first poster of Wanted, Salman shows us his back as he poses with the guns in both his hands, thankfully, we can see his side profile though.

But then in the first poster of Ek Tha Tiger, we saw Salman showing his back again. And this time there was no view of his face whatsoever as we could see a silhouette of the superstar standing tall in an Arabin setting with helicopters flying overhead. Similarly, in the first poster of Dabangg 2, we only got to see Chulbul Pandey’s slightly cracked Aviator shades hanging from the back of his collar. Check it out:

Again, Salman Khan lighted up the first look teaser poster of Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in a blue kurta and dhoti. But again, we saw nothing, but his back facing us here too.

Is this Salman’s way of telling the makers of his films that he has had their back? Pun not intended. Surely, like us would want to know the reason behind this. Again, pun not intended.
