What did you do when you were five years old? Play with marbles, or dolls, or small cricket bats and balls? Or even when you were nine or 10? Well, this little guy will surely give you a complex with what he achieved when he was all of five. And the little boy is none other than Budhia Awooga Singh – the youngest marathon runner in the world at the time. Odisha-based Budhia Singh, now studying in standard nine, has an entire biopic to his name after his 48 marathons at a young age. The Bollywood film Budhia Singh – Born to Run is based on this little man’s life, and it stars heavyweight actor Manoj Bajpayee.
Here we have a vox pop video from the Budhia Singh film team wherein we have some people telling us what they did when they were kids – and that’s not exactly running a marathon at five! Or even planning to do so. Mostly it’s fooling around and having fun, apart from the studying, of course. And look at what Budhia achieved! He even made it to the Limca Book of Records for his feat. There were rumours that Budhia is nowhere to be found, but the ninth grader will soon be in Mumbai to promote the film, say reports.
