Afghanistan take on UAE in match six of the competition

Afghanistan and UAE (United Arab Emirates) will battle in a Group A encounter of the Desert T20 Challenge tournament on Monday. This is the sixth match of the tournament and will be played in Abu Dhabi. The match will begin at 8.30 pm IST. Unfortunately there is no TV coverage or online streaming available for Indian fans. Both Afghanistan and UAE have registered a win each in the competition thus far. While Afghanistan beat Ireland by five wickets, UAE beat Namibia by six wickets. The match on Monday is the second for both teams. Although ranked number 15 in the world, UAE are on home turf and will have their best chance to beat a higher-ranked Afghanistan team, who are ranked number nine.

UAE are trying hard to establish themselves after missing out even on the qualifying round for the World T20 held in India last year. There are eight teams taking part in the tournament, divided into two groups. Group A has Afghanistan, UAE, Ireland and Namibia. Group B has Scotland, Netherlands, Oman and Hong Kong.
