If you were born in the 1980s or thereafter, there is more than a fair chance that at least for some years you have been a WWE buff. The wrestling competition, perhaps the pinnacle of sporting entertainment, has enthralled many fans around the world. (Also Read: WWE Royal Rumble & Vince McMahon’s Revenge: Can Reigns defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship?)

And it is set to take India by storm once again. The Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium will play host to the India leg of WWE. In what is going to be a two-day event, the best of WWE will descend on the capital on January 15 and 16. Some of the names set to put the wrestling ring on fire include Roman Reigns, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Charlotte and Ryback.

Like changing times, the athletes cum entertainers have also changed. So it has been a while since the heroes of the 1990s have either stepped out or stepped back. But one way or the other, it is worth remembering that the likes of Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin reigned as the entertainment factory of WWE was making its mark with the advent of cable network in India.

The biggest drawcard in the capital though is expected to the two-time reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion Reigns. Meanwhile, as you get set for the event in Delhi, you can whet your appetite by watching the top 10 moments of Raw, a popular programme of WWE.
