Roger Federer fired an ace to claim the match against British title hope Andy Murray. With this emphatic win Federer sets up the mouth-watering semifinal clash with old rival Rafael Nadal who defeated 22 year old Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov earlier in the day. 17 time champion was cruising easily towards semifinals by winning the first two sets till Murray clawed back the third set in the tie-breaker. Federer again got the match in his favor by breaking Murray’s serve and take a lead of 5-3. He finally nailed it with an ace to take the set and match. The final scoreboard read 6-3 6-4 6-7(6) 6-3.

Federer aiming for the 18th grand slam will find tough opponent in the form of Rafael Nadal in the semifinals.
