New Delhi, March 28: Following the ban imposed on Australian opener David Warner for the forthcoming Test against South Africa, the former vice-captain who was sacked from his position following the ball tampering scandal has now lost his sponsorship from LG.

The leading electronics brand on Wednesday confirmed that it would not renew their contract with its Brand Ambassador, according to reports.

LG Australia has further mentioned that it is in the last week of its sponsorship deal with David Warner and would not go further with it.

The brand also took a dig on Warner and said it only works with ambassador who understands the core value of their organization.

Earlier, the Australian Test team-mates wanted Warner to be removed following his misbehavior which allegedly saw him spill champagne on his mate.

Following the incident, Warner also left the whatsapp group which was formed along with him and his team-mate.
