Bangladesh win by 8 runs! So that is it, Bangladesh restrict Netherlands to in 20 overs. In the end a good performance by Bangladesh, but credit must go to Netherlands. They never gave up and kept themselves in the game. At one stage, though, they looked in comfortable position. With this win Bangladesh open their account on the points table.

Tom Cooper Out! This should seal it for Bangladesh. Or will there be some drama towards the end? Looking for a reverse sweep, Cooper hits it towards short third-man. This partnership between Peter Borren and Tom Cooper is now worth 23 off 22 balls. Netherlands need move on in next few overs, otherwise the asking rate will keep bulging.

Sabbir covered the stumps and was looking to pus the ball towards on-side for a single. He misses the line of the ball and it struck him in on the pads. The name might have rang a bell, yes, he is the very same van der Merwe who once played for South Africa. He has now moved to Netherlands to represent them, and is a vital cog in the Dutch attack.  Six on the last ball by Tamim Iqbal, spoiled the over for van der Merwe, eight off it.

Live Score Bangladesh 33/1 after 6 Overs: That is end of powerplay overs. Bangladesh’s scoring rate is 5.50 runs per over and have lost a wicket as well. Netherlands have used three bowlers so far, each bowled two overs. Will be interesting to see Bangladesh batsmen respond post fielding restrictions.

There you go, Soumya Sarkar did not last too long. Paul van Meekeren brought into the, remember he was the one who dropped Sarkar earlier in the first over, and he straight-away redeems himself with a wicket of Sarkar. The batsman went for cut and got the outside edge. Keeper does the rest. Sarkar c Barresi b Meekeren 15(13). 

Live Score Bangladesh 18/0 after 3 Overs: Mudassar Bukhari with his second over. Good over this for Netherlands, just four from it. Soumya Sarkar launched one over mid-on, but did not get the distance and collected only two runs. Otherwise, Bukhari was on spot with his line and length.

Live Score Bangladesh 14/0 after 2 Overs: Timm van der Gugten bowled the second over and Soumya Sarkar, early on in the over, slammed him past mid-wicket for a boundary. That was second boundary for Sarkar. The over ended with couple of singles, six came off it.

Live Score Bangladesh 8/0 after 1 Over: Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarker are the two opening batsmen for Bangladesh. Mudassar Bukhari starts the proceedings for Netherlands.
