On day 9 of Commonwealth Games 2014 India bagged four medals which include three silver medals and a bronze to remain intact on fifth spot on medals tally. It was a happy outing for Indian boxers as four of them marched into the finals assuring at least silver medals. The penultimate day of games gets underway today and India will be hoping to add gold to their kitty. Here is the schedule of Indian players who will be in action today.

Athletics: After leaping a distance of 16.51m in qualification round Arpinder Singh will take part in Men’s Triple Jump final while Ravinder Singh Khaira will participate in Men’s Javelin Throw final. In Women’s 4x400m relay final M.R. Poovamma, Tintu Luka, Ashwini Akunji, Ratandeep Kaur, Debashree Majmudar and Anilda Thomas will be seen in action and participating in Women’s 4x100m relay final will be Saradha Narayan, H.M. Jyoti, Asha Roy, Srabani Nanda, Merlin Joseph and Santhini Vallikkad.

Boxing: In Men’s light flyweight (49kg), welterweight (69kg) and middleweight (75kg) pugilists Devendro Singh, Mandeep Jangra and Vijender Singh will be aiming for gold medal respectively while in Women’s lightweight final (57-60kg)Sarita Devi will look to deliver the final punch.

Badminton: India will take on Malaysia in Women’s Doubles semi-final while in Singles semi-final P.V. Sindhu will square off against Li Michelle. In Men’s Singles semi-final Parupalli Kashyap will face Rajiv Ouseph and R.M.V. Gurusaidutt will pit against Derek Wong.

Diving: Siddarth Pardeshi will be participating in Men’s 10m platform preliminary.

Hockey: Indian Men’s Hockey team will take field against New Zealand in a semi-final clash without their Captain Sardar Singh who was suspended after a game against South Africa.

Squash: India will face England in Women’s Doubles Gold Medal match.

Table Tennis: Achantha Sharath Kamal will lock horns with Singaporean Zhan Jian in Men’s singles semi-final.
