England vs India: Twitterverse reacts to India's 3-1 defeat

England thrashed India 3-1 in the five-match Test Series and the visitors were so cataclysmic in the last two Tests that it both matches at Old Trafford and the Oval were completed in three days flat. Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was lost for words after witnessing his team failed to surpass England’s score despite playing two innings.

To make matters worse, India were fined by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for maintaining a slow over rate. This is India’s fifth consecutive defeat in overseas Test series which began with the 4-0 whitewash against the same opposition in 2011. As always, the Twitterverse maintained its no holds barred approach by lashing out at India’s ‘not so surprising’ collapse, including former England skipper Michael Vaughan.
