England team will look at getting some points after rain spoiled their winning game against New Zealand. They face a tough challenge in the form of Sri Lanka who have had a great tournament till now with wins in both matches. England will have to win this game otherwise their chances of remaining in the tournament will be very bleak and marred by net run rate and the dismal performance of other teams.
Sri Lanka is in good form, has a fit team and is winning matches and they will hope to keep the winning momentum going with this match. England is in all kinds of trouble with the ghost of The Ashes haunting them.
The English side has been making some really odd decisions in the form of dropping Kevin Pieterson, their best hitter and dropping Ian Bell and Luke Wright from their 1st T20 in the ICC World T20 2014. They will mostly play the match with the same team as the previous match making it that much harder on themselves.
