New Delhi, March 28: Ever since Cricket Australia took its decision and banned Steve Smith, Cameron Bancroft and David Warner for the forthcoming Test against South Africa and some more decision to be taken in the next 24 hours, former England batsman Kevin Pietersen has taken a dig at Australia cricket team coach Darren Lehmann and laughed out at the decision made by their board.

During the ball tampering incident that took place during the third Test against South Africa, videos proved there was clear transfer of walkie-talkie from the Lehmann sitting in the dressing room to the dug out.

Pietersen after the Cricket Australia announcement on Tuesday wrote on Twitter: “Lehmann never knew….” and laughed out.

The former English batsman continued to hit at Cricket Australia and later on Wednesday morning tweeted: I’ve woken up this morning actually gutted for Smith, Warner & Bancroft. Yes they were involved and will be sanctioned but I’m afraid they weren’t the only ones(& I don’t think anyone else believes they were)… I hope they get a fair trial.

Earlier, reports suggested that Lehmann is likely to resign from his position after the completion of the Final Test against South Africa.
