Yes, you’ve heard it right! “Hulkamania” is back to the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) fold. After a 6 years hiatus, Hulk Hogan has announced his comeback to WWE. Hulk Hogan, is one of the greatest superstars in the 50-year history of WWE. “Words cannot describe how excited I am to be back at the WWE family,” said Hogan.

Hogan will make his return on the company’s flagship program, ‘Monday Night RAW’ which airs live at 8 p.m. on February 24. The legend will be also available on WWE Raw Backstage Fallout Pass, which will air on the same day. His comeback makes for a perfectly timed one as it’s also the launch date for WWE latest venture – WWE Network which will too be launched on the same day.

A larger-than-life icon, Hulk Hogan, remains the biggest wrestler in WWE history. ‘Hulkamania’ was officially born on January 23 1984, when Hogan defeated Iron Sheik to become WWE Champion at Madison Square Garden. Six times in his illustrious career, Hogan has won the coveted title of WWF/E Championship. Hogan is also the first man in the history of WWE to win two consecutive Royal Rumble matches in the year 1990 and 1991.

Hogan has been the main draw of many Wrestlemanias in the history of WWE. His opponents have varied from Andre The Giant and Randy Savage to The Rock, but the superstar has never backed down. His feud with the company’s chairman, Vince McMahon garnered many controversies in his glory days.

Hulk was also fired from the company, only to return as Mr. America and let the Hulkamania roar once again. Hogan last appeared on RAW in December’s 2007 episode. Hogan was then inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2005 by Sylvester Stallone.

The 60-year-old’s return is confirmed, and he is slated to host the Wrestlemania XXX event on April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. “There are no plans for matches right now, but like they say in WWE, never say never,” said the elated Hogan.

Hulk Hogan will begin his fifth stint with the company. We’re thrilled to have Hulk Hogan has returned home to WWE. It’s fitting to have him help us celebrate 30 years of Wrestlemania,” said the WWE Chairman and CEO, Vince Mcmahon.

It’s a real treat for ‘Hulkamaniacs’ (fans of Hulkamania) around the globe. Wrestlemania XXX is about to sizzle with the company’s greatest superstar announcing his comeback.
