Pakistan registered a compressive 180-run win over rivals India in the final of ICC Champions Trophy. Victory over India has given the country a reason to celebrate and  post win, fans thronged streets and roads in Pakistan to commemorate team’s success.

Pakistan Army too were seen celebrating. Military spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor took to social networking site Twitter and shared pictures of people and Army celebrating Pakistan’s win.

In one his tweets, Ghafoor mocked India and tweeted: “ And this is Our Baluchistan. ‘’To whom it may concern’. Lay off,” along with pictures of fans celebrating. Also Read- ICC Champions Trophy 2017: Top 5 match-winning knocks

Ghafoor also tweeted a video, which appears to be shot in Srinagar, celebrating Pakistan’s victory over India. “And this is………Srinagar!!” he wrote. Also Read- ICC Champions Trophy: Played like we had nothing to lose, Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed

In another tweet, he said.  “Valiant soldiers of Pakistan congrat Team Pak & Nation. United we shall defend Pak against all threats our enemies hatch.”

This is Pakistan’s maiden Champions Trophy. The Sarfraz Ahmed-led side came into the tournament as eighth ranked and stunned everyone to register an emphatic win.
