India are once again embarking on a new test. This time it is Test cricket in the West Indies. July and August sees some enticing cricket and four Test matches in the Caribbean may just be the dose that the doctor ordered. Virat Kohli leads a bunch of young boys, who would not want to leave any stone unturned. Below you can catch the complete schedule of India’s tour to West Indies. (India will come hard at West Indies in first innings: Ravichandran Ashwin)

We will have to wait and see how this one goes. One must say, India are hot favourites. West Indies struggle in the longest format of the game. What will they do this time around? We do not know. Nobody expects them to win. And that may work in their favour.

Match        Date                    Venue             Time
1st Test       Jul 21-25             Antigua          7.30 pm IST
2nd Test      Jul 30-Aug 03     Jamaica          8.30 pm IST
3rd Test      Aug 09-13           St Lucia         7.30 pm IST
4th Test      Aug 18-22           Trinidad        7.30 pm IST

They will have to be on the ball to win once again. It will not be easy but if India are true to form, they should win. It is tough to talk about West Indies considering that they can be unpredictable often. They must have a sense of consistency.

India is a young team. They have played outstanding cricket at home but have generally struggled overseas. It is their chance to get going come the start of the series. India’s bowling stocks have always been thin. Anil Kumble may have a thing or two to say regarding that. We have to wait and watch how the pacemen bowl on what can be at times really flat, good batting wickets. India have a good record in recent years as far as playing cricket in West Indies is concerned.
