IPL 2014, KXIP vs SRH: Can Maxwell and Co tackle Steyn and party

The Tuesday tie up between the Sun-risers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab will be an amazing duel between bat and ball and cricket fans all over the world should give this match a watch just to witness the destructive Maxwell taking on the equally dangerous Dale Steyn. The SRH bowling line up is one of the strongest in the tournament and contains international rank bowlers from top to bottom. On the other hand the KXIP batsmen have now chased two huge totals in consecutive matches and with the likes of Glenn Maxwell and David Miller in form, they look like the side to beat in this edition of the IPL.

Kings XI Punjab:

X Factor: KXIP batting line up and its string of hard hitters are now the most feared force in the IPL. It looks like that they can chase any total and they make chasing look easy. If Steyn and co. fail to find a way to get the Kings XI batsmen in check, the game will be as good as over for them.

Watch out for: Glenn Maxwell, David Miller.

Both Maxwell and Miller have together taken KXIP to victory in both the matches. While Maxwell has played two of the most memorable innings in the History of IPL in the two matches that the Kings have played, Millers batting against the Royals was the stuff of legends. If the two of them continue to be in this sort of form, the proceedings for the Kings XI will be rather easy in the Tournament.

Weak Point: The Bowling has now been disappointing in two games in a row. they have conceded too many runs and had it not been for the batsmen, the results of the games would have been in favor of the opposition teams. Johnson and Co. will have to buck up their spirits and show a much better bowling performance in the upcoming game.

Sun Risers Hyderabad:

X Factor: The SRH bowling can make up into any International side. they have some genuinely good bowlers and as we saw in the previous game, the opening spell of Bhuvaneshwar kumar and Dale Steyn is very tough for even great Batsmen to survive.

Watch out for: Dale Steyn, David Warner:

While Dale Steyn proved his worth with the ball in the very first game against the RR, David Warner found it very hard to get going. Steyn once again will be the key to the success of the Sun risers, while Warner won’t get a better chance to return back in form than against the struggling Kings XI bowling line up.

Weak Point: The batting disappointed in the first game. They have some great T20 batsmen in their line up and its about time that they put their hands up and perform for the cause of the team. Dhawan, Finch and Warner are the major batsmen in the side, while Sammy and others will also have to chip in with useful contributions if the SRH franchise have to repeat their last years heroics.
