IPL 2017 Auction: Complete list of sold and unsold players
IPL 2017 Sold and Unsold players list: Ben Stokes gets top bid while Irfan Pathan and Ishant Sharma miss out
Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 auction came to an end as all the franchises boosted their squads with foreign and domestic players. The overseas players ruled the IPL 2017 auction and apparently top eight buys were all foreign players. England’s Ben Stokes topped the list as Rising Pune Supergiants shelled out whopping INR 14.50 crores for him. His compatriot Tymal Mills too attracted a bid of INR 12 crores and he went to Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Total of 66 players were sold out of which 27 were foreigners. Interestingly, Indian fast bowlers Ishant Sharma and Irfan Pathan went unsold and that means they will miss this years IPL. Prominent overseas players who missed out were West Indies skipper Jason Holder, Jonny Bairstow, Marlon Samuels, Alex Hales Imran Tahir and Thisara Perera. Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan became the only players from the country to be picked for IPL. Both the players went to Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 30 lakhs and INR 4 crores respectively.

Gujarat Lions: Nathu Singh (50 Lakh), Basil Thampy (85 Lakh), Tejas Singh Baroka (10 Lakhs), Manpreet Gony (60 Lakhs), Jason Roy (1 Cr), Munaf Patel (30 Lakh), Chirag Suri (10 Lakh), Shelly Shaurya (10 Lakh), Shubham Agrawal (10 Lakh), Pratham Singh (10 Lakh), Aksh Deep Nath (10 Lakh). The tenth edition of IPL starts on April 5 with defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore. The final of IPL 2017 or IPL 10 will be played on May 21.
