New Delhi, Apr 15: Virat Kohli completed 4,500 T20 runs and broke several other records during VIVO IPL 2018 match against Rajasthan on Sunday. Leading from the front, the RCB captain scored 57 runs off 30 balls. He scored his fastest 50 (26 balls) in T20 career and joined Gautam Gambhir for scoring most number of half-centuries (53) in T20.

Notably, Kohli is only 31 runs behind Suresh Raina, who he joined in the 4,500-run club, to become the top-run scorer in IPL.

In the RR vs RCB clash, Rajasthan beat Bangalore by 19 runs in a high-scoring IPL encounter.

Batting first, RR scored 217 for 4 courtesy Sanju Samson’s unbeaten 92 off 45 balls which included 10 sixes and two boundaries. Skipper Ajinkya Rahane scored 36 off 20 balls. Umesh Yadav was hit for 59 runs in his four overs.

In reply, RCB could only post 198 for six as skipper Virat Kohli’s 57 went in vain. Mandeep Singh also scored 47 off 25 balls but the target proved to be too much in the end.
