New Delhi, April 6: Even after having a side with the likes of power-hitters Chris Gayle, Brendon McCullum, Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers; Royal Challengers Bangalore have failed to clinch a single title in the Indian Premier League, since the one past decade. However, skipper Virat Kohli has asserted that he is contended to his side win the lucrative tournament, this season.
However, in the last season, RCB was the worst hit with injuries as their captain Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers did not play for the initial matches which led to the making of Shane Watson as the interim captain.
Even their star players KL Rahul and Sarfaraz Khan were ruled out of the season due to their prolonged injuries.
As a result, RCB ended up at the bottom of the table and they changed their squad for each match which was the key reason for its downfall, as well
“I can assure you, my committment is going to be 120 percent to try and achieve the goal to win the cup this time,” Virat Kohli was quoted as saying by Royal Challengers Bangalore official Twitter handle.
