Live Cricket Score, IPL 2014, Eliminator, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) vs Mumbai Indians (MI): Match 58 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai

(Chennai Super Kings take on Mumbai Indians in Match 58 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai for the Eliminator of IPL 2014. Catch all the Live Score Updates and Live Cricket Action here.)

Chennai Super Kings take on Mumbai Indians after Mumbai managed to scrape through to the Playoffs against Rajasthan Royals after leveling the required runs and then hitting a 6 off the last ball to make the fourth spot.

After the UAE leg of IPL 2014 Mumbai had lost all 5 matches and the defending champions looked like they would end last on the points table but when IPL 2014 returned to India May 2nd 2014, Mumbai Indians started to play a bit like the fans expected them to and started winning matches. With their last match against Rajasthan Royals going down to the last ball winning the match with a better net run rate over Rajathan Royals. MI has made it to the Playoffs and now faces CSK in a bid to go on to the final and defend their title.

Mumbai Indians will be depending on their pumped up batting line up with Michael Hussey, Rohit Sharma, Corey Anderson, Lendl Simmons and the others to get the victory. The bowling attack of Mumbai Indians has not been as attacking as it was when Lasith Malinga was leading the attack, who is now representing Sri Lanka against England. Zaheer Khan is out because of an ankle injury but Praveen Kumar replaces him and along with Harbhajan Singh and Shreyas Gopal, they stand a decent chance of trying to intimidate the Chennai batting line-up which is in attacking form.

Chennai Super Kings has had a run of bad luck in their previous couple of matches before won against Royal Challengers Bangalore to put an end to their losing streak. Chennai Super Kings have defeated Mumbai Indians in both the league matches and they will aim at making it a hat-trick with this crucial match for a shot at the title.

Chennai Super Kings will also depend their batting line-up with the likes of Dwayne Smith, Faf du Plessis, MS Dhoni and Brendon McCullum to make the mincemeat out of the Mumbai Indians bowling.
