English Premier League giants Manchester United are linked with superstar Neymar after the Brazilian star has reportedly become frustrated at Barcelona.

Neymar has been in Barcelona with four seasons and it looks like he might not be with La Liga giants for much time if reports are to be believed.

Spanish newspaper Sport claim that the forward is ready to leave the La Liga after being advised to step out of Lionel Messi’s shadow from his family and representatives.

This might tempt Manchester United to bid for the Brazilian forward, who in past have been linked with the EPL giants.

The former Santos ace has won everything since his arrival at Barcelona except the Ballon d’Or, although he did come third in 2015.

One part of the superstar’s representatives have allegedly told him that “by the side of Messi you will always be second, you will always be in his shadow”.

Despite this latest report Barcelona remain relaxed on the situation. He is under contract until June 2021 and has a release fee of £175million this summer.

Earlier this month he was asked about the possibility of moving to the Premier League, and he said: “No, no not yet. To be honest I’ve never thought about living in England

“I do watch the Premier League a little bit, but then again I don’t like to watch too much football.

“I like to follow Coutinho and Gabriel Jesus just to see how they’re doing but I’ve never touched the subject of moving to the Premier League with them.”
