Pakistan have leapfrogged Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to take up the sixth spot after winning their maiden ICC Champions Trophy on Sunday.

Pakistan beat India by 180 runs in the final at The Oval.

South Africa, who were defeated by Pakistan earlier in the competition and eliminated at the group-stage, remain the top-ranked ODI side despite again falling short an ICC event.

Australia too haven’t given up ground despite an earlier-than-planned exit from the Champions Trophy, retaining their second spot two ranking points behind the Proteas.
