New Delhi: Ace shuttler PV Sindhu once again created history by defeating Nozomi Okuhara of Japan in the women’s singles final of the Korea Open Super Series in Seoul on Sunday becoming the first Indian to lift the title in Korea.

Sindhu, who lost the World Championships final in Glasgow last month to Okuhara, completed her revenge with an impressive 22-20, 11-21, 21-18 win in a match that lasted an hour and 23 minutes. Sindhu displayed dogged determination and great stubbornness to lay claim to the third Super Series title of her career and to make the nation proud.
