Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic are all set for an exciting semifinals clash at the Dubai Open beating their respective opponents in form of Lukas Rasol and Russian Mikhail Youzhny respectively. These two former world number one players look forward to providing a mouth watering clash to watch for the audience with Federer leading 16-15 head to head with Novak Djokovic.

On one hand the fourth seeded Federer beat Rosol of the Czech Republic 6-2 6-2 and will face Djokovic on Friday. The Serb on the other hand had it easy as his opponent Russia’s Mikhail Youzhny withdrew through illness and handed him an early advance to the semi-finals.

Novak Djokovic is making his return to the professional tennis after five weeks since his loss at Australian Open, 2014. He is more interested in getting ‘match practice’ and in his last full fledged match he played was quite a satisfactory performance of  6-1, 6-3 win on Wednesday against Roberto Bautista Agut.

The other set of semi-finals comprise of Germany player Philipp Kohlschreiber taking on Czech Tomas Berdych. They both are coming off straight set victories over their respective opponents. Thomas Berdych is leading head-to-head series 7-1.
