DD-RCB_10

Royal Challengers Bangalore who has been in the middle of nowhere in the IPL 7 will take on the Delhi Daredevils; whose form has been even worse than RCB. Both the teams are at a stage from where every game for them will be a do or die match. They need to win every match from here onwards to have any chance whatsoever in regards to qualify for the Qualifiers. The match that will take place at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore will as always be a high scoring game considering the short boundaries and flat wicket that has been the tradition here from quite some time now.

Royal Challengers Bangalore:

X factor: Even though they lost the game against the Rajasthan Royals, the team has arguably the best news to move forward in the tournament. Their 14 crore bet has finally paid off and Yuvraj Singh has finally delivered with the bat and the ball in this edition of the IPL. Yuvraj is the kind of player who can win matches on his own and he nearly did that for the Royal Challengers in the last game.

Watch out for: Ab de Villiers, Yuzvendra Chahal.

These are two players who have delivered on a regular basis for the Challengers. Chahal has been very impressive in the tournament so far and has proved to be economical even when the other bowlers have gone for tons of run from the other end. Ab de Villiers on the other hand is without a doubt the best player in the world today. In the absence of form for Virat Kohli, he has to carry the team on his shoulders which he has done very well so far.

Weak point: The bowling, which was proving to be their strong point till just 2 games back has now lost 2 matches for them, matches that they should have won comfortably. Given the fact that the batting has finally started to click, it would be an extra boost for the challengers if the bowling provides the same support that it has done to the team in the past.

Delhi Daredevils

X Factor: JP Duminy is the kind of player who has been handy to the team with the bat and the ball as well. The problem that the team has faced is that he is pushed too far down the order and even though they have a very strong batting line up, they seem to struggle to get going. JP is their X factor and they need to promote him up the order.

Watch out for: Kevin Pietersen, Quinton De Kock

Kevin Pietersen showed signs of his old self in the last game and the pitch and ground of the M. Chinnaswamy can be exactly what he needs to be back in form, Quinton De Kock on the other hand has got starts right throughout the tournament and the youngster looks a very good prospect for the team for the next three years.

Weak Point: The bowling has no fire power whatsoever and the daredevils seem to struggle because of that. When JP Duminy is your most economical bowler you have to agree that something is wrong with the bowling attack. They have big names in the attack, but these big names have failed to impress so far.
