New Delhi, April 2: South Africa opener Dean Elgar pulled off a sensational full-length dive while running towards the mid-off boundary to dismiss Australian captain Tim Paine in the second session of day three of the fourth and final Test between South Africa and Australia at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on Sunday.

Elgar turned behind to locate the mistimed shot from Paine and chased it as the ball appeared over his left shoulder and grasping it with both hands.

The catch saw Paine being dismissed for a fighting 62, after nursing a fractured finger which suffered an injury while wicket-keeping during the South Africa innings.

Australia could only manage 221 runs in the first innings.
