Following India’s 105 runs victory over against West Indies in Port of Spain, Indian players spent some happy time to celebrate their victory with discarded West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo on Sunday. Bravo hosted Team India after Ajinkya Rahane hit his third One-Day International (ODI) hundred and Kuldeep Yadav’s chinaman spin inspired Virat Kohli’s side to take 1-0 lead in the five-match ODI series. Rahane became second Indian batsmen to score a hundred against West Indies on Caribbean soil.

Sharing a photo of him with former Indian Premier League (IPL) team-mate and skipper MS Dhoni and his daughter Ziva, Bravo wrote, “It was great to have my brother from another Mother at my house last night along with his beautiful daughter my mom #champion #djbravo #Family @mahi7781”.

Bravo, who made his IPL debut with Mumbai Indians, enjoyed tremendous success under Dhoni’s leadership at Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Following the two-year ban on CSK Bravo joined Gujarat Lions. Also read: Virat Kohli becomes second most followed Indian on Facebook

Due to dispute with West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), Bravo was overlooked before team selection for India series at home. Bravo has been out of West Indies team since 2014 India tour where they refused to play in a way to protest against WICB’s pay offer to the contracted players. He has since been replaced by Jason Holder as skipper of the side.

Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan, who scored 63 in the match, has also posted a photo of him with teammates Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane. Also read: India vs West Indies: Yuvraj Singh wore Champions Trophy jersey in 2nd ODI

Team India will play their next game in Antigua where Kohli will bring a few changes in the playing XI.
