Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech’s wedding has been a topic of discussion ever since the duo got engaged in November last year and now they finally got married on Wednesday morning. The much-awaited marriage of cricketer Yuvraj Singh and British-Mauritian actor Hazel Keech took place in Chandigarh. They got married in a Gurudwara situated 40 kilometres from Chandigarh in a ceremony that was attended by close friends and family of both individuals.
gurudwaraThe ceremony was performed and blessed by Braham Gyani Sant Ram Singh at the Fatehgarh Sahib Gurudwara. The morning started with the haldi ceremony, which was followed by the Gurudwara wedding. The wedding ceremony only had Yuvi-Hazel’s near and dear ones in attendance, with as many as 15 bodyguards providing security to the venue.
yuvraj820The ceremony ended with a grand langar and the cricketer shared his first picture as a married man at 5pm, captioning it, “Starting a new innings today!” The couple will now get married according to Hindu customers in Goa on December 2 with among the large invitees is the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Both Yuvraj and Hazel wore maroon colour sherwani and lehenga respectively and they complimented each other well. Yuvraj is reported to have worn a sherwani by JJ Valaya. The traditional wedding ceremony in the gurudwara was followed by a reception at a five-star overlooking the Sukhna lake which was attended by the couple’s family and close friends. Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj’s close friend, actor Angad Bedi, were by his side since morning.

Yuvraj will now organise a grand gala reception which is to take place in Delhi on December 7. It will be a star-studded reception. The Guest list is full of high profile and superstars names which includes the like of Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan and the megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Ambanis, Deepika Padukone, Soha and Saif Ali Khan, and Neha Dhupia. Some reports have also circulated which said the members of the England cricket team have been invited too with their interest in attending a ‘big fat Indian wedding’.
