Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh is all set to tie the knot with Bollywood actress Hazel Keech on November 30. The invites have already been sent to close friends and relatives and Yuvraj, along with her mother Shabnam, had also visited the parliament recently to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the wedding, and it is expected to be a high key affair with cricketers as well as Bollywood celebrities on the invitation list.

On getting to know that the 34-year-old Indian all-rounder was getting married, some of the English supporters expressed their desire to savour the opportunity of witnessing this “big fat Punjabi wedding.” Barmy Army, which is in town to support the English cricket team has a unique wish for Yuvraj’s wedding. They want to see England pacer Stuart Broad dance in the pre-marriage event along with Yuvi and his bride Hazel.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, the Barmy Army’s tour manager Andy Thompson said, “Oh, we all loved the way Yuvraj batted and who can forget those six sixes he hit off our lad Stuart Broad in World T-20 (2007). Congratulations to Yuvi and his bride but how we wish he had given us invites as well. Maybe, he has sent us and they are still in the mail box! We won’t be getting access to the wedding celebrations, but I guess the England team might go to the pre-wedding function as the teams are staying in the same hotel. It would be exciting to see Stuart dancing with Yuvi and his wife in that function,” Andy said.

In the most famous face-off between Yuvraj Singh and Stuart Broad, the English pacer was carted away for six sixes in the World Cup 2007 match by the left-hander which not only won India the match but also helped Yuvraj record the fastest fifty in T20I cricket a record that to date remains with him.

Well, we support ‘Barmy Army” with this agenda of theirs. It would indeed be fun to see Broad and Yuvraj sharing the same dance floor, and it will definitely be a treat to the eyes for all the guests present in the wedding.
